We recently had chance to try out a newly opened burger restaurant close to Anděl. Of course, if you are in Prague just for few days, you want to stick to the traditional Czech cuisine, but if you visiting for longer, or just starting your life as an expat in Prague, you might feel like trying something different. There are quite a lot burger places in Prague now. So how is Le Burger different from the rest?

They opened just three months ago, and they are still building their clientele and are very open to any recommendations and suggestions. It is an open kitchen restaurant, so you can sit on the bar and watch the chef prepare your meal directly in front of your eyes. The aromas waft towards you, pleasantly teasing your taste buds. They get all their food, including the meat, fresh every day, and it comes from local suppliers, even on the weekend. Their beef comes from a single specific Czech herd, so you can expect a consistent quality of meat. The restaurants is quite small, which might mean that reservations will be the must, very soon, but on the other hand, you can really feel the buzz of the restaurant and the staff is quick and friendly.

Besides burgers, on the menu you will find steak, soup and a few salads. Burgers including a portion of delicious homemade frites are between 189-200CZK.  During the week days, you can enjoy a lunch menu of one burger (a different one every day– chefs decided the day off and this burger you will not find on the regular menu), steak, quiche and soup. The burger costs only 99CZK. Do not feel like going out? No problem, you can order your burgers to be delivered to your home through Damejidlo.

The other place you might like to try is Café Palanda. Restaurant has very convenient location in New Town and very tasty burgers.

Our search for the best burger in Prague will never end, but this place was worth it to share with you, and right now, it is very high on our list. What is your favorite burger place in Prague?
